Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles (vans, trucks, etc.) for the transportation of goods and materials.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring secure handling and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and transport regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and internal teams regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Represent Career.zycto professionally and courteously at all times.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance checks and cleanliness.
Required Skills
- Valid Mauritian Driving License (Class 3 preferred, or relevant classes for delivery vehicles).
- Proven experience as a driver in a logistics or delivery setting.
- Excellent knowledge of Mauritian road networks, especially within the Black River District.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to operate GPS devices and navigation applications.
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- High School Certificate or equivalent.
