Career.zycto is seeking a reliable, experienced, and highly motivated Driver – Logistics & Delivery to join our growing team in Horizon Park, Spanish Town. As a vital member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods to various destinations across Jamaica, utilizing a company-provided vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided vehicle for the delivery and pickup of goods across designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling, securing, and documentation of all items.
- Verify accurate counts and condition of goods against delivery manifests and invoices.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries, adhering to schedules and traffic laws.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues or damage immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the company vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or issues.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and transportation regulations.
Required Skills
- Valid General Driver's License (Jamaica) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving and logistics
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with Jamaican roadways
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and transportation regulations
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) regularly
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Customer service-oriented approach
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Defensive Driving Certification
- Experience with delivery route planning software or GPS systems
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
