As a Driver, you will be the backbone of our operational efficiency, responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transportation of goods using a company-provided vehicle. Your daily tasks will involve a variety of routes within Greater Portmore and surrounding areas, ensuring that our products and services reach our clients promptly and in perfect condition.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations within Greater Portmore and surrounding areas.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure all goods are securely loaded, transported, and unloaded without damage, adhering to safety protocols.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, utilizing navigation tools as needed, to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
- Accurately complete all necessary delivery documentation, including manifests, invoices, and proof of delivery forms.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, interacting professionally and courteously with clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the company vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
- Assist with warehouse duties or loading/unloading tasks as required, when not on active delivery routes.
Required Skills
- Valid Jamaican General Driver's License (at least Group 2 or equivalent for light/medium vehicles)
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations for the past 3 years
- Thorough knowledge of Portmore and surrounding St Catherine/Kingston metropolitan area roads and traffic patterns
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshooting
- Physical stamina to lift and carry packages (up to 50 lbs) and assist with loading/unloading
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- High degree of reliability and punctuality
- Customer-service oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certificate in Defensive Driving
- Experience with GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery applications
- Familiarity with various types of delivery vehicles (vans, pick-ups, small trucks)
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
