Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided vehicle for the timely delivery of goods.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, adapting to real-time traffic or road conditions.
- Verify cargo against delivery manifests, ensuring accuracy of items loaded and delivered.
- Load and unload goods, exercising proper handling techniques to prevent damage.
- Obtain necessary signatures and complete all delivery documentation accurately.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service during interactions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or issues.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or incidents promptly.
Required Skills
- Valid General Driver's License (Class C or equivalent)
