Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and responsible Driver – Logistics & Delivery professional to join our growing team in Hope Pastures, St. Andrew. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who takes pride in safe driving, efficient delivery, and excellent customer service. As a vital member of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for the timely and secure transportation of goods across various routes within the St. Andrew parish and surrounding areas, utilizing a company-provided vehicle.
Your day-to-day will involve carefully loading, transporting, and unloading a diverse range of items, ensuring all deliveries are made in accordance with planned schedules and specific client requirements. We expect our drivers to be more than just transporters; you will be the face of Career.zycto, interacting professionally with clients, verifying delivery contents, and collecting necessary signatures or payments when applicable. Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of your assigned company vehicle, conducting routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and promptly reporting any mechanical issues are paramount to our operational safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify contents of shipments against delivery manifests and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and complete required paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and recipients.
- Navigate routes effectively, using maps or GPS to ensure timely deliveries.
Required Skills
- Valid General Driver's License (e.g., Class C or equivalent)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Proficiency in basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with St. Andrew and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) safely
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving or delivery experience
