Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles for the delivery and collection of goods.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring secure transit and proper handling.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Interact professionally with clients, representing Career.zycto with integrity and excellent customer service.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Handle all paperwork and documentation associated with deliveries and collections.
Required Skills
- Valid Class C (or equivalent) Jamaican driver's license.
- Clean driving record with no major infractions.
- Strong geographical knowledge of Kingston and surrounding areas.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) safely.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
