Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicles to ensure safety and operational readiness.
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles for the delivery and collection of goods across designated routes.
- Accurately load, unload, and secure cargo, taking precautions to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify the accuracy of shipments against delivery manifests and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, utilizing GPS navigation and local geographical knowledge.
- Communicate proactively and effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status, potential delays, or unforeseen issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and complete all required paperwork diligently.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and transportation regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during all interactions with clients, ensuring a positive representation of the company.

Required Skills
- Valid Jamaican General Driver's License (e.g., Class C or F for goods vehicles)
- Clean driving record (no major infractions)
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role
- Excellent knowledge of local routes and road networks within Montego Bay and St. James parish
- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet delivery schedules
- Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs comfortably
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for professional client interactions
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in handling paperwork and goods
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
