Your daily tasks will include performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, meticulously loading and unloading cargo, navigating optimal routes, and accurately completing delivery paperwork. Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles with meticulous care.
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
- Follow routes and time schedules provided by the logistics team, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Collect payments and issue receipts when necessary.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, handling inquiries and feedback professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned company vehicle.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.
Required Skills
- Valid General Driver's License (Class C or F)
- Clean driving record with no major infractions
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Ability to operate a company vehicle safely and responsibly
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs
- Familiarity with local roads and routes in Mandeville and surrounding areas
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Defensive Driving Certification
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
