Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided vehicle for deliveries and collections.
- Execute daily delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely arrival of goods.
- Accurately load, unload, and secure merchandise, preventing damage during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and adherence to company maintenance schedules.
- Complete all delivery paperwork, including invoices, manifests, and proof of delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or issues.
- Adhere strictly to all Jamaican traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions at delivery points.
- Handle cash or process electronic payments for COD deliveries when required.
Required Skills
- Valid Jamaican General Driver's License.
- Clean driving record, free of major infractions.
