Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and dependable Driver – Logistics & Delivery professional to join our dynamic team in Jack’s Hill, St. Andrew. As a Driver, you will be an essential link in our supply chain, responsible for the integrity of our deliveries from dispatch to destination. You will navigate local routes across Jack’s Hill and surrounding St. Andrew areas, interacting with clients and representing Career.zycto with professionalism and courtesy. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work, can manage their time effectively, and is capable of handling the physical demands of loading and unloading goods as required. Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods and products to various locations within Jack’s Hill and the wider St. Andrew parish.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring all safety features and operational components are in good working order.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Accurately complete delivery logs, maintain records of goods transported, and handle delivery documentation.
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents promptly to management.
Required Skills
- Valid Jamaican General Driver's License (Class C or higher preferred) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience in a logistics or delivery capacity.
- Excellent knowledge of local routes and geographical areas within St. Andrew, especially Jack’s Hill.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, loading, and unloading packages.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
