Career.zycto is actively seeking a dedicated Part-Time Driver Logistics professional to join our team, serving the vital Muja Power Station Area in Collie. Key Responsibilities
- Execute timely and safe pickup and delivery of goods, materials, and equipment within the Muja Power Station Area and surrounding Collie region.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring all safety and operational checks are completed and documented.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifest, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet scheduled deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and site-specific regulations, particularly in industrial environments.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required, ensuring proper securing and handling.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and clients regarding delivery status or any potential delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the company vehicle.
- Handle delivery documentation, including signing for goods and obtaining necessary receipts.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License (Class C minimum)
- Proven experience in commercial driving or logistics delivery
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Collie region, including industrial areas
- Ability to operate and maintain delivery vehicles safely
- Good physical condition, capable of lifting and moving packages
- Reliable, punctual, and highly organized
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating light rigid (LR) or medium rigid (MR) vehicles
- Previous experience working in or around industrial or power generation sites
- First Aid certification
- Forklift license (LF class)
