As a driver, you will be a key representative of our clients, embodying professionalism, reliability, and punctuality on the road. We are looking for individuals with an impeccable driving record, strong knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and road conditions within Butare and surrounding areas, coupled with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport clients (executives, staff, or individuals) to their designated destinations.
- Plan optimal routes to ensure timely arrivals, accounting for traffic and road conditions.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in pristine condition, ensuring cleanliness, regular servicing, and timely fueling.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, consistently prioritizing safety for all passengers.
- Assist clients with loading and unloading luggage or other belongings as required.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance logs.
- Demonstrate discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding client itineraries and discussions.
- Be available for flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, as client needs dictate.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness.
Required Skills
- Valid Rwandan driver's license (Class B or above)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience (personal or corporate)
- Impeccable driving record with no major violations
- Excellent knowledge of Butare city and Southern Province routes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
- High level of professionalism, punctuality, and discretion
Preferred Qualifications
- Defensive driving course certification
- Experience driving luxury or executive vehicles
- Proficiency in basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
