As a Driving Instructor with El-Fateh Driving School, your primary responsibility will be to deliver comprehensive, engaging, and hands-on driving lessons to individuals spanning all skill levels – from complete beginners taking their first steps behind the wheel to those looking to refine advanced driving techniques or refresh their existing skills. You will meticulously work within our carefully structured and proven curriculum, adeptly utilizing both practical on-road training and thorough theoretical instruction. Your objective will be to ensure that students not only grasp critical concepts of vehicle operation, traffic laws, and hazard perception but also develop advanced defensive driving strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, comprehensive, and highly effective practical driving lessons to students of varying experience levels, from novice to advanced.
- Provide clear, concise theoretical instruction on Egyptian traffic laws, road signs, vehicle mechanics, and advanced defensive driving techniques.
- Routinely assess student progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback and targeted guidance.
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans meticulously tailored to individual student needs, learning paces, and specific goals.
- Ensure all lessons are conducted in strict adherence to Egyptian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and the school's rigorous safety protocols.
- Maintain training vehicles in a scrupulously clean, safe, and fully roadworthy condition, promptly reporting any maintenance or repair issues.
- Educate students on essential vehicle maintenance basics, pre-drive checks, and emergency procedures.
- Thoroughly prepare students for their official driving examinations, encompassing both theoretical knowledge and practical driving tests.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of student attendance, progress, completed lessons, and assessment results.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with students, their families, and school administration regarding progress and scheduling.
- Stay continuously updated with the latest driving regulations, instructional methodologies, and emerging vehicle technology.
Required Skills
- Valid Egyptian driving license for relevant vehicle categories (e.g., private car)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience (e.g., taxi, delivery, or similar professional driving)
- Exceptional knowledge of Egyptian traffic laws, road signs, and national safety regulations
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
- Outstanding patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm and composed under various pressures
- Proven ability to effectively teach, explain complex concepts clearly, and adapt to different learning styles
- High level of personal responsibility, meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to safety
- Fluency in Arabic (both spoken and written) is mandatory
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a certified or professional driving instructor
- Completion of a recognized driving instructor training program or certification
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics for fundamental troubleshooting and explanations
- Ability to communicate and instruct in additional languages (e.g., English) is a valuable asset
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
