You will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of safe and responsible drivers, working with a diverse range of students from novices to those requiring refresher courses or advanced training. We are looking for someone who thrives on seeing their students succeed, possesses excellent communication skills, and maintains an up-to-date knowledge of all road regulations and best practices. As a key educator, you will be responsible for creating tailored lesson plans, conducting practical and theoretical training, and meticulously preparing students for their driving tests. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive practical driving lessons for students of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced.
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans addressing individual student needs, learning styles, and progress.
- Educate students on all aspects of road safety, traffic laws, and responsible driving practices.
- Prepare students thoroughly for both practical driving tests and, where applicable, theory tests.
- Assess student progress accurately and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
- Maintain meticulous records of student lessons, progress, and financial transactions.
- Ensure the training vehicle is always clean, well-maintained, and compliant with all safety regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest driving regulations, test procedures, and instructional techniques.
- Foster a supportive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for all students.
- Manage scheduling and appointments efficiently, ensuring timely attendance and professionalism.
Required Skills
- Valid ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) certification.
- Excellent knowledge of the Highway Code and current driving regulations.
- Proven experience in delivering driving instruction.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive teaching attitude.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Full UK driving license with no more than 3 penalty points.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with specialized training (e.g., advanced driving, Pass Plus).
- Additional language proficiency.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience managing a diverse student base.
