Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled drywall installers with various tasks, including measuring, cutting, and hanging drywall sheets.
- Load, unload, and transport drywall materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces, removing debris, and setting up scaffolding or ladders.
- Mix and apply joint compound (mud) and perform basic sanding under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools are properly stored and waste is disposed of.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform general labor duties as required to support overall project completion.
- Learn and follow instructions from supervisors and experienced team members to develop trade skills.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
