Job Description
The Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and experienced Radio Host to join our vibrant team in Triolet, Pamplemousses District. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, research, and prepare daily radio show content, including scripts, topics, and interview questions.
- Present live and pre-recorded radio programs with an engaging, authentic, and professional on-air personality.
- Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and community members on various subjects.
- Manage listener call-ins, social media interactions, and respond to audience feedback effectively.
- Operate broadcast equipment and software for on-air delivery, including mixers, microphones, and playout systems.
- Collaborate with producers and technical staff to ensure smooth program transitions and technical quality.
- Adhere strictly to broadcasting regulations, ethical guidelines, and MBC's editorial policies.
- Participate in promotional activities, public appearances, and station events as required.
- Contribute to content development meetings, offering creative ideas for new segments and show formats.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international news, current events, and cultural trends relevant to the Mauritian audience.
Required Skills
