OK Zimbabwe Limited is seeking a dedicated and proactive E-commerce Inventory Synchronization Assistant to join our growing digital team. This is a critical remote role designed for an individual who thrives on ensuring accuracy and seamless operations within a fast-paced retail environment. As we rapidly expand our online presence, maintaining precise inventory synchronization between our physical stores and various e-commerce platforms is paramount to our success and customer satisfaction.

In this exciting remote position, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our extensive physical stock and our digital storefronts. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure real-time, accurate inventory levels, product information, and pricing are consistently reflected across all our online channels. This involves a blend of data analysis, system monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a key role in preventing stockouts, minimizing discrepancies, and optimizing product availability for our online customers. We are looking for someone who can independently identify potential issues, proactively resolve them, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our inventory management processes. If you are a self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a desire to contribute significantly to a leading Zimbabwean retailer’s digital journey, we encourage you to apply. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to make a significant impact from wherever you are, contributing to the nationwide reach of OK Zimbabwe’s e-commerce vision.

  • Proactively identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with the procurement, logistics, sales, and marketing teams to ensure smooth product flow and accurate inventory representation.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, forecast needs, and optimize stock levels.
  • Assist with product catalog management, ensuring all online product listings are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Utilize and become proficient in our inventory management software, ERP systems, and e-commerce platform backends.
  • Support the implementation of new inventory management tools and processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity and consistency across all retail channels.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP, WMS, or similar retail management systems).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for remote collaboration.
  • Familiarity with major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom solutions).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of proven experience in retail inventory management, e-commerce operations, or data synchronization roles.
  • Knowledge of the Zimbabwean retail landscape and consumer goods sector.
  • Experience with specific inventory synchronization tools or integration platforms.
  • A track record of improving inventory accuracy or efficiency in a previous role.

Perks & Benefits
