Career.zycto is actively seeking an innovative and dedicated E-Learning Developer to join our growing team near Heathrow Airport, London. This role requires a creative mind with a strong technical aptitude for authoring tools and learning management systems. You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and project managers to ensure that our learning solutions meet high standards of quality, accessibility, and pedagogical effectiveness. We are particularly interested in candidates who can bring an understanding of different learning styles and cultural nuances to their development work, ensuring our content truly resonates with a global audience.
You will be responsible for the full development lifecycle, from storyboarding and content creation to multimedia integration and final deployment. This includes developing SCORM-compliant courses, interactive simulations, video tutorials, and assessments. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging, interactive, and SCORM/xAPI compliant e-learning modules using various authoring tools.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and instructional designers to transform raw content into effective learning experiences.
- Integrate multimedia elements such as graphics, audio, video, and animations to enhance course material.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and testing on all e-learning content to ensure functionality, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Manage and maintain learning content within Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Stay updated with the latest e-learning trends, technologies, and instructional design methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of e-learning development processes and standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, Rise 360).
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and content publishing (SCORM, xAPI).
- Ability to create engaging multimedia content (video editing, graphic design, audio production).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- Experience developing e-learning content for a diverse, international audience.
