As a trainee, you will work closely under the guidance of experienced Early Childhood Educators, gaining invaluable hands-on experience across all aspects of childcare and early learning programs. You will be instrumental in assisting with daily activities, observing child behavior, implementing educational play, and contributing to a safe and inclusive setting. Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified Early Childhood Educators in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
- Support children with daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices.
- Observe and document children's development and behavior under supervision.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions.
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and children, fostering positive relationships.
- Adhere to all licensing regulations and company policies regarding child care.
- Learn and apply best practices in early childhood education and child guidance.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Genuine passion for working with young children.

- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Basic understanding of child development stages (beneficial, but not required to start).
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrollment in or interest in pursuing an Early Childhood Education program.
- Previous volunteer or paid experience working with children (e.g., babysitting, camp counselor).
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check (upon offer).
