Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Consultant to join our growing team in Aberdeen, Kamloops. As an Education Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective international students, providing expert guidance on Canadian educational institutions, admission requirements, program selection, and the intricate student visa application process. Your profound understanding of the Canadian education system, coupled with empathy and cultural sensitivity, will be crucial in building trust and ensuring a seamless transition for our clients. You will conduct in-depth consultations, develop personalized study plans, and meticulously assist with application submissions, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and submitted on time. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive consultations with prospective international students to understand their academic goals, preferences, and eligibility.
- Provide expert advice on Canadian educational pathways, institutions, programs, and admission criteria.
- Assist students with the entire application process, including document preparation, essay writing, and submission to partner institutions.
- Guide students through the Canadian student visa application process, ensuring all requirements are met and documentation is complete.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in Canadian immigration policies, education trends, and institutional offerings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions and relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in outreach activities, education fairs, and informational webinars to promote Career.zycto's services.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to students from initial inquiry through to enrolment and post-arrival guidance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a holistic and seamless client experience.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in education consulting, international student recruitment, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian education system and post-secondary institutions.
- Proven experience with Canadian student visa application procedures and requirements.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- High level of cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluency in additional languages relevant to key international student markets (e.g., Mandarin, Hindi, Punjabi, Spanish).
- Experience living or studying abroad.
- RCIC (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant) or RISIA (Regulated International Student Immigration Advisor) certification or in progress.
