Key Responsibilities
- Assist elderly clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming), mobility, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities such as conversations, reading, or light games.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including tidying living areas, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Administer medication reminders as per care plan and assist with appointment scheduling.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health, behavior, or well-being to supervisory staff.
- Ensure client safety by identifying and addressing potential hazards in the home.
- Support clients with errands and community outings as required.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of care provided and client observations.
