Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading daily care shifts, ensuring smooth operation and high standards of care.
  • Support and mentor junior care staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Engage with residents, providing emotional support, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of person-centred care plans.
  • Accurately record and update resident care documentation, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Administer medication safely and correctly after comprehensive training and under supervision.
  • Communicate effectively and empathetically with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene policies and procedures.
  • Organize and facilitate engaging activities for residents, promoting their well-being and social interaction.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or changes in resident condition.
  • Uphold the dignity, respect, and independence of all residents at all times.
