Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct personal care and support to residents, adhering to individual care plans.
  • Assist in the supervision of care staff, delegating tasks and monitoring their completion under guidance.
  • Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and care staff for routine inquiries and escalate complex issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all care policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the administration of medication, strictly following protocols and training.
  • Contribute to the development and review of person-centred care plans.
  • Support the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of residents through engaging activities and compassionate interaction.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed care records and daily logs.
  • Assist with staff training and induction for new care assistants as part of your development.
  • Promote a positive and supportive working environment for the care team.
