Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from work sites safely and efficiently.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, setting up ladders, and ensuring proper safety precautions are in place.
- Perform basic wiring, conduit bending, and cable pulling tasks under direct supervision.
- Help identify and troubleshoot minor electrical issues, reporting findings to senior electricians.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and electrical codes.
- Learn and apply new technical skills and knowledge as guided by senior staff.
- Assist with routine inspections and preventative maintenance checks on electrical infrastructure.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles and safety procedures.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and work in various positions (standing, crouching, kneeling).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and a proactive work ethic.
