Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bill of materials.

  • Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and validation of prototypes and final products, identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ensure all electrical designs and implementations comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for both existing systems and new deployments.
  • Participate actively in design reviews, contributing innovative ideas and constructive feedback to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, Altium Designer).
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, circuit theory, and power systems.
  • Demonstrable experience with PLC programming and control systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards (e.g., BS 7671, IEC, UL) and their practical application.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach to complex challenges.
  • Ability to accurately read, interpret, and generate technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant advanced discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working towards professional registration.
  • Experience in specific high-tech sectors such as renewable energy, industrial automation, or aerospace.
  • Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 13849, IEC 61508).
