Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to perform accurate installations and troubleshooting.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Perform routine diagnostic tests and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations, local electrical codes, and company standards.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnose root causes, and implement effective repair solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and time spent.
- Participate in the commissioning of new electrical installations and machinery.
Required Skills
- Completed vocational training as an electrician, industrial electrician, or similar.
