Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components including transformers, switchgear, motors, control panels, and instrumentation.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure operational reliability and compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues, interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment using specialized tools and diagnostic software.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies, industry regulations, and local codes.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and other technical teams to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Participate in emergency response and on-call rotations as required.
- For selected opportunities: Travel to international locations to assist with specialized electrical projects, infrastructure development, or technical support, adapting to diverse operational environments and cultural contexts.
Required Skills
- Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial or utility setting.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, principles, and safety procedures (OSHA, NEC).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems and components.
- Experience with high-voltage systems, transformers, switchgear, and motor control circuits.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or related field.
- Experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems.
