Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency electrical maintenance and repairs in residential properties.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using various testing devices.
- Inspect electrical systems and components for damage, hazards, and code compliance.
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and other technical documents to install or repair electrical systems.
- Provide accurate cost estimates and clearly explain repair options to clients.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and adheres to national and local electrical codes (e.g., ERC Electrical Wiring Regulations).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing residential electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of the Kenya Electrical Wiring Regulations (KEWR) and safety standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications
- ITI Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Technology.
