Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electronics Repairer for Home Service to join our growing team in Kakamega County, Kenya. In this pivotal role, you will be the face of our commitment to excellent customer service, providing expert on-site diagnosis, repair, and maintenance for a wide range of electronic devices directly at our clients’ homes. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues with televisions, home theatre systems, sound bars, microwaves, small kitchen appliances, and various other consumer electronics. A strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and diagnostic tools is essential. Beyond technical prowess, we’re looking for an individual with exceptional communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to explain complex technical issues in an understandable manner to non-technical clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate on-site diagnosis and repair of various consumer electronics, including TVs, audio systems, microwaves, and other small home appliances.
  • Travel to customer locations within Kakamega County promptly and efficiently.
  • Effectively communicate technical issues, repair processes, and solutions to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service, building trust and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of electronic circuits, components, and diagnostic tools.
  • Manage and organize personal repair tools and inventory of common spare parts.
  • Accurately document all repair activities, parts used, and service reports.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and best practices during all service calls.
  • Offer preventative maintenance advice and product usage tips to clients.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in repairing consumer electronics.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic principles and circuit boards.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.

  • Valid Kenyan driving license and a reliable means of transportation.

  • Fluency in English and Swahili.
