Job Description

Career.zycto is on the lookout for a talented and driven Email Automation Specialist to join our remote team. As our Email Automation Specialist, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimising our email marketing campaigns and automated workflows, ensuring seamless and effective communication at every stage of the recruitment process. You’ll work closely with our marketing, sales, and talent acquisition teams to understand objectives, develop strategic email flows, and analyse performance to continuously improve engagement and conversion rates.

Your role will encompass everything from crafting compelling email content and designing visually appealing templates to segmenting audiences, A/B testing, and managing our email automation platforms. We are looking for someone who isn’t just a user of email platforms but an architect of sophisticated, data-backed communication strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy automated email campaigns and workflows across various stages of the candidate and client lifecycle.
  • Develop engaging and relevant email content, calls-to-action, and subject lines to maximise open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Manage and segment email lists to ensure targeted and personalised communication.
  • Perform A/B testing on subject lines, content, send times, and other variables to optimise campaign performance.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on email campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure email deliverability, compliance with GDPR and other data privacy regulations, and adherence to email best practices.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and talent acquisition teams to align email strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Maintain and optimise email automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and integrate with other systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in email marketing and automation.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing and automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimising successful email campaigns and automated workflows.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including deliverability, sender reputation, and A/B testing.
  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills with an ability to tailor messages to different audience segments.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting on email campaign performance.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template customisation.
  • Solid understanding of GDPR and other data privacy regulations related to email marketing.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Certifications in major email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot Marketing Software Certification).
  • Experience in the recruitment or HR technology sector.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and their integration with email platforms.
  • Experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
