Job Description
Pemba Island Adventures is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Email Marketing Assistant to join our vibrant marketing team. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining our email calendar, ensuring timely delivery of newsletters, promotional offers, and automated sequences. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, execution, and optimization of email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated sequences.
- Support the creation of engaging email content, including copywriting, image selection, and basic HTML formatting.
- Manage and segment email lists, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Schedule and deploy email campaigns using our email marketing platform.
- Monitor email campaign performance, tracking key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
- Generate regular reports on email campaign effectiveness and provide insights for improvement.
- Conduct A/B testing on various email elements (subject lines, CTAs, content) to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all digital channels.
- Stay updated with email marketing best practices, industry trends, and new technologies.
- Maintain email marketing calendar and ensure timely execution of all scheduled campaigns.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on email marketing (internships or personal projects count).
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, SendGrid).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a flexible environment.
- Basic understanding of email analytics and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
