Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive technical assessments of engineering qualifications, academic credentials, and professional experience of international candidates against US industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance and consultation to engineers on the most suitable skilled migration pathways (e.g., H-1B, EB-2, EB-3 Visas) based on their specific engineering discipline and career goals.
  • Assist in the meticulous preparation and review of technical documentation, including résumés, project portfolios, academic transcripts, and professional references, ensuring accuracy and compliance for immigration applications.
  • Act as a primary liaison between international engineers, immigration attorneys, and relevant regulatory bodies, facilitating clear communication and ensuring all parties are aligned throughout the application process.
  • Continuously monitor and stay updated on changes in US immigration law, engineering licensure requirements, and evolving industry standards to provide the most current and accurate advice.
  • Develop and deliver informative workshops, webinars, and one-on-one consultation sessions for prospective immigrant engineers, covering topics from technical evaluation to cultural integration.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering discipline (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Chemical).
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate professional engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of US immigration pathways and visa categories for skilled professionals, particularly engineers.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills for evaluating complex technical qualifications and documentation.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and empathetically.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and trust with diverse international professionals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in any US state or a recognized equivalent international licensure.
  • Master's or Ph.D. in an engineering field.
  • Previous experience working with international engineers or in a global talent mobility, recruitment, or consulting capacity.
  • Familiarity with various international engineering education systems and credential evaluation processes.
  • Multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi) are a significant plus.
  • Experience in an advisory or consulting role within engineering or immigration services.
