Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior surveyors and engineers in setting up and operating surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.
- Perform basic field measurements, stakeout operations, and data collection under supervision.
- Maintain and clean surveying equipment, ensuring it is in good working order before and after field assignments.
- Record field notes accurately and clearly, including sketches, measurements, and relevant site information.
- Help with the preparation of survey data for processing, including basic data entry and quality checks.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols on job sites to ensure a safe working environment.
- Transport equipment and supplies to and from job sites.
- Learn and apply fundamental surveying principles, techniques, and terminology.
