Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, using proper body mechanics.
- Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and accurately record observations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care activities and report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures as directed and within scope of practice.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
