Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Perform environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation strategies for proposed projects.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals, and regulatory submissions, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, communicating progress to clients and senior management.
- Provide expert guidance to clients on environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and sustainable practices.
- Oversee fieldwork activities, including sampling, monitoring, and data collection for various environmental media.
- Foster strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities within the environmental consulting sector.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in environmental site assessment methodologies (Phase I, II, III ESAs).
- Strong understanding of federal and provincial environmental regulations (e.g., CEAA, NB Environmental Protection Act).
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills for reports and presentations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience with fieldwork, data collection, and interpretation of environmental data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for site visits.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional designation (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., EP).
- Experience with contaminated site remediation technologies and strategies.
