Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and ecological risk assessments.
- Perform site inspections, fieldwork, and sampling activities (soil, water, air).
- Collect, analyze, and interpret environmental data using scientific software and statistical methods.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure projects comply with local, national, and international environmental regulations and standards (e.g., German Federal Nature Conservation Act, EU Directives).
- Develop and implement environmental management plans and sustainability strategies.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including engineers, urban planners, and project managers.
- Stay abreast of emerging environmental science trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Provide technical guidance and support on environmental issues to project teams and clients.
Required Skills
