This is a unique opportunity for a talented professional with a strong command of English to leverage their expertise in enterprise resource planning systems and drive significant value for our diverse client base. Based at a key location in York, you will be instrumental in guiding businesses through complex digital transformations, optimising their operations, and ensuring seamless integration of critical business processes.
As an ERP Consultant, you will be the bridge between client business needs and technical solutions. You will engage directly with stakeholders at various levels, from executive leadership to end-users, to thoroughly understand their challenges and objectives. Your role will involve the full lifecycle of ERP implementation, from initial requirements gathering and system design to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. We are looking for someone who can not only solve intricate technical puzzles but also articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of client business processes and requirements to identify ERP solution opportunities.
- Design, configure, and customise ERP modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, CRM, HR) to meet specific business needs.
- Lead and facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and client meetings to gather and validate requirements.
- Perform comprehensive system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and data migration activities.
- Develop and deliver user training programs and comprehensive documentation for ERP solutions.
- Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for ERP system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation in collaboration with project managers.
- Advise clients on ERP best practices, system optimisation, and future roadmap planning.
- Collaborate effectively with technical teams, developers, and other consultants to ensure integrated solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest ERP technologies, trends, and industry-specific solutions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with major ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or NetSuite.
- Strong understanding of core business processes (e.g., Financials, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Manufacturing).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Fluent and highly proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience in data migration, system integration, and report generation tools.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a client-facing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant ERP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365).
- Previous consulting experience in an external client-facing role.
- Experience with cloud-based ERP solutions and digital transformation projects.
- Master's degree or equivalent advanced qualification.
