Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections of the estate's common areas, utility systems, and residential units to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, generators, and other equipment.
- Execute general repairs including carpentry, painting, masonry, and basic landscaping tasks.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management, ensuring timely resolution.
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services, ensuring quality and adherence to schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of tools and spare parts.
- Implement and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the estate.
- Assist in the development and execution of long-term maintenance plans and capital improvement projects.
- Monitor utility consumption and identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost reduction.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff or contract workers when necessary.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Facility Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
- Strong technical expertise in electrical systems (diagnostics, repairs, installations).
- Proficiency in plumbing repairs (leaks, blockages, fixture installations).
- Knowledge of HVAC systems operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Competency in general carpentry, painting, and masonry.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
