Career.zycto is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Evening Care Supervisor Lead to join our dynamic team in Harrow, London. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage evening care operations, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care delivery.
- Provide leadership, support, and supervision to evening care staff, including mentoring and performance monitoring.
- Conduct regular spot checks and quality assurance visits to clients' homes to ensure care plans are being followed and standards met.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations, complaints, and challenging behaviours, providing guidance and resolution.
- Assist with staff scheduling and rota management to ensure adequate cover during evening shifts.
- Act as a liaison between evening care staff and senior management, reporting on operational activities and staff performance.
- Ensure all care documentation is accurately completed and maintained in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication channels within the evening team and with other departments.
- Participate in on-call duties as per rota, providing out-of-hours support and advice.
- Support the induction and ongoing training of new and existing care staff.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a care setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations.
- Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Proficiency in using care management software and basic IT tools.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and best care practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care.
- Experience in home care or domiciliary care.
- First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of local safeguarding policies and procedures in Harrow.
