Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests upon arrival, presenting menus and daily specials.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, offering recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously, ensuring high standards of presentation.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests efficiently to enhance their dining experience.
- Process guest payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and inviting dining area.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and other front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and restaurant operational standards.
- Assist with basic cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and organised workplace.
