Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and setup of all food and beverage service areas for various events, including buffets, plated dinners, and coffee breaks, according to event specifications and diagrams.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner, adhering to service standards and proper etiquette.
- Ensure all catering equipment, including serving dishes, utensils, and glassware, are clean, polished, and properly set up.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including back-of-house and front-of-house spaces, before, during, and after events.
- Actively participate in the breakdown and clean-up of event spaces, ensuring all items are properly stored or returned to their designated areas.
- Replenish food and beverage items as needed, monitoring portion control and presentation.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests promptly and courteously to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, event planners, and other team members to ensure smooth event execution.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, supply shortages, or guest complaints to the immediate supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (1 year) in a catering, restaurant, or hotel food service role
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or a related field
- Familiarity with various event setups and service styles
- First Aid and CPR certification (desirable)
