Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly creative, organised, and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our dynamic team in the heart of Merseyside Waterfront, Liverpool. This pivotal role involves conceptualising, planning, and executing a diverse portfolio of corporate and private events, ranging from intimate gatherings and grand celebrations to large-scale conferences and product launches. You will be instrumental in delivering unforgettable experiences that reflect our clients’ visions and exceed their expectations.

As an Event Planner, you will be the central point of contact for clients, guiding them through every stage of the event lifecycle, from initial concept development and budget management to vendor selection, logistics coordination, and on-site execution. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of corporate and private events from concept to completion.
  • Liaise directly with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgetary constraints.
  • Develop detailed event proposals, timelines, budgets, and post-event reports.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and venues.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects, including scheduling, transportation, staffing, and on-site management.
  • Ensure all events comply with health and safety regulations and venue specific requirements.
  • Manage event marketing and promotion efforts where applicable, in collaboration with marketing teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the planning or execution of events.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional event planning experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing corporate and private events.
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
