Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of a diverse range of corporate and private events.
- Liaise directly with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and budgetary requirements.
- Develop detailed event proposals, timelines, budgets, and post-event reports.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage a network of vendors, including caterers, venues, AV technicians, and entertainers.
- Oversee all logistical aspects, including venue setup, transportation, registration, and on-site event management.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Conduct site visits and pre-event inspections to ensure suitability and compliance.
- Ensure all events comply with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong, lasting relationships with clients.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and sales teams to promote events and gather feedback.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience in event planning or event management.
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing corporate and private events.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial tracking.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
