As a key partner, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing, planning, and executing flawless events that exceed client expectations, reflecting their vision and values.

Your role will involve understanding client needs, developing detailed proposals, budgeting, vendor negotiation, timeline management, and on-site coordination. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial client consultations to understand event objectives, preferences, and budget for both wedding and corporate events.
  • Develop comprehensive event proposals, including themes, concepts, décor, catering, entertainment, and logistics.
  • Create detailed event timelines, production schedules, and floor plans.
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage a diverse range of vendors (caterers, venues, photographers, florists, entertainers, AV specialists, etc.).
  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability.
  • Coordinate all pre-event logistics, rehearsals, and setup.
  • Provide on-site event management and coordination, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
  • Handle client communication, managing expectations and providing regular updates throughout the planning process.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a current understanding of industry trends, venues, and suppliers in the St. Ann region.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in event planning, specifically with both wedding and corporate events.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Aisle Planner, Eventbrite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
