Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and budget for both wedding and corporate events.
- Develop detailed event proposals, including themes, concepts, timelines, vendor recommendations, and cost estimates.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage a wide range of vendors (venues, caterers, decorators, photographers, entertainers, A/V technicians).
- Create comprehensive event schedules, floor plans, and run-of-show documents.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Oversee all logistical aspects leading up to and during the event, including setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors, ensuring seamless communication and problem resolution.
- Conduct site visits and walkthroughs to assess suitability and plan event layouts.
- Ensure all events comply with safety regulations, local ordinances, and client specific requirements.
- Provide post-event analysis and feedback to clients, including financial reconciliations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional event planning experience, specifically in weddings and corporate events.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
