Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly skilled and passionate Freelance Event Planner specializing in both wedding and corporate events to join our growing network of independent professionals. As a Freelance Event Planner, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing, planning, and managing a diverse portfolio of events, ranging from intimate weddings and grand ceremonies to impactful corporate conferences, product launches, and gala dinners across Ensom City, Spanish Town, and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand vision, objectives, and budgetary constraints for both wedding and corporate events.
- Develop comprehensive event proposals, including creative concepts, detailed timelines, budget breakdowns, and vendor recommendations.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage a diverse range of vendors (caterers, venues, florists, photographers, entertainment, AV production, etc.).
- Create and manage detailed event timelines, checklists, and floor plans.
- Oversee all logistical aspects, including permits, transportation, registration, and on-site setup and breakdown.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Provide exceptional on-site event management, ensuring smooth execution and problem-solving in real-time.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and vendors throughout the planning process.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering repeat business and referrals.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience in event planning, specifically with both wedding and corporate events.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Proficiency in budget creation and financial tracking.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative flair with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
