Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their event vision, objectives, and budget.
- Develop comprehensive event proposals, including detailed timelines, budgets, vendor recommendations, and creative concepts.
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with a diverse range of vendors (venues, caterers, florists, photographers, entertainment, etc.).
- Create and manage detailed event timelines, checklists, and floor plans to ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including setup, registration, audiovisual requirements, and guest experience.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Provide on-site supervision and coordination during events, addressing any issues proactively and efficiently.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gather client feedback, and prepare final reports.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues or challenges before and during events.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, venues, and vendor offerings in St. Elizabeth and Jamaica.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in event planning, specifically with weddings and corporate events.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
