Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their event vision, objectives, and budgetary requirements for both wedding and corporate events.
- Develop comprehensive event proposals, including detailed concepts, themes, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Source, vet, and negotiate with a wide range of vendors (caterers, venues, decorators, photographers, entertainment, transportation, etc.) to secure the best services and rates.
- Create and manage event timelines, budgets, and critical path documents to ensure all milestones are met.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects, including permits, equipment rental, setup, teardown, and on-site staff management.
- Oversee event day execution, providing hands-on management to ensure smooth operation and quick resolution of any unforeseen issues.
- Manage guest lists, RSVPs, seating arrangements, and attendee communication.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, including feedback collection and financial reconciliation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, local regulations, and new technologies in event planning.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in event planning, specifically with both wedding and corporate events.
- Demonstrable portfolio of successful event productions.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relations skills.
