Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of event equipment and materials to various venues.
  • Execute the precise setup of event infrastructure, including staging, lighting, sound equipment, furniture, and decorative elements, following detailed plans and supervisor instructions.
  • Ensure all equipment is safely and securely installed, adhering to health and safety regulations and company protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure timely and efficient event preparation.
  • Perform routine checks on equipment for functionality and report any damages or malfunctions.
  • Participate in the efficient dismantling and packing away of event setups post-event, ensuring all items are accounted for and stored properly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment both during setup and breakdown operations.
  • Be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy equipment (up to 25kg) safely.
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
