Career.zycto is seeking enthusiastic and highly professional Event Ushers to join our vibrant team of hospitality service providers in Mushin, Lagos. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and being an integral part of memorable events. As an Event Usher, you will be the welcoming face and guiding hand for guests attending a diverse range of events, including corporate conferences, concerts, weddings, private parties, and public gatherings. Your primary role will be to ensure the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of all attendees from the moment they arrive until their departure. We are looking for individuals who embody professionalism, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a genuine desire to contribute to the success of every event. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon their arrival, providing a positive first impression.
  • Efficiently check tickets, invitations, or accreditation, ensuring smooth entry procedures.
  • Accurately direct guests to their designated seats, sections, or specific event areas.
  • Provide clear and concise information regarding event schedules, facilities, and emergency exits.
  • Actively monitor guest flow and crowd control to maintain order and prevent congestion.
  • Anticipate and respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Assist guests with special needs, including wheelchair access or specific seating arrangements.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment by identifying and reporting any hazards or spills to event management.
  • Collaborate effectively with other event staff, security personnel, and vendors to ensure seamless event operations.
  • Assist in emergency procedures, including evacuations, as directed by event management.
  • Distribute programs, promotional materials, or other event-related items as required.
  • Uphold a high standard of personal appearance and professional conduct at all times.
